Here you will access information, programs and activities of Rio de Janeiro's capoeira as well as capoeira in Brazil and throughout the world.
The site is not completly ready yet. But we suggest the "History/Philosophy" and the "Iconography" pages by mestre Nestor Capoeira.
If you want to do research in a deeper level you will find mestre Nestor's revised and expanded version of his PhD thesis "Jogo de Corpo e Comunicultura" (ECO-UFRJ, 2001) in the Brazilian part of this site. Unfortunatly the text is only in Portuguese.
The other pages are still being made and soon will be accesible to all.
